Using Motiff

Portfolio guidelines

Your portfolio will be your first impression and it’s a great way to highlight all of your best pieces and show your abilities.

So, we’ve created these portfolio guidelines to help you present your work the best way possible.

We hope you’ll find them useful and don’t forget you’re required to upload at least 4 albums in order for your account to be activated.
Personal info
Please, do not place your last name or contact info on your profile nor in your albums’ description. Presenting all of your work in one album is not acceptable.
Uploading albums
When uploading a portfolio, please segment your albums according to different clients.
Cover image
Uploading great cover images for your albums is a key part of creating your portfolio. While browsing albums and creative talents, your cover image will be the first thing one sees. So, it needs to be high-quality and to represent your work the best way possible.
Category - Industry - Specialty section
In order to help clients search for talents experienced in specific category and industry they need and with a specific set of skills - specifying category, industry and specialty is mandatory.

For example, you have done a graphic design work for a pharmacy store and their launch campaign. So, your Category is Graphic Design, Industry is Pharmaceutical and Specialty can be Lead Designer or Art Director.
Portfolio suggestions
  • You are required to upload at least 4 albums.
  • Every album should have between 4 and 10 items.
  • High-quality images/videos should be uploaded.
  • All images should be the same width.
  • White space/spacing between images is preferable.
What we believe is not acceptable
  • Presenting all of your work in one album
  • Pixelated images
  • Low-quality images
